What we collect

No account data. The game requires no signup and asks for no name, email or similar personal information.

Game data stays on your device. Scores and preferences are held in your browser's local storage and are not transmitted to us.

Online play establishes a direct connection between two browsers. A signalling server is used to set that connection up; it does not see the contents of your game.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display third-party advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Analytics

Analytics tools may be used to understand site traffic. These produce aggregate, anonymous data and do not identify individual users.

When you finish the daily match, your result (how many guesses you took and the player names you typed) is added to anonymous counters. This is what lets us show you comparisons such as what share of players solved it in the same number of guesses. No account, identity or IP address is stored, only totals.

Third-party services

Player validation uses an external data service. Only the player name you searched for is sent; nothing that could identify you is transmitted.

Children's privacy

This site does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data. Use the address on the contact page for such requests.

Changes
